Cougar Loose in Brantford?
Brantford City Police are on the lookout for what could be a possible cougar. Around 2:30 Sunday morning an officer patrolling Lynden Road saw an animal resembling a large cat running along a sidewalk before heading across the Sympatica apartment properties at Brantwood Road. Paw prints found in the snow indicate about a six-foot stride. Brantford Police urge the public not to to approach the cat, corner it or try to trap it.
