Finley Seen in Caledonia – Briefly
September 23rd, 2008 by Roby received 1 Comment »Caledonia residents David Brown and Dana Chatwell, who live on Argyle Street South, were tired of waiting for incumbent MP Diane Finley to show up in their area of the riding, so they decided to take matters into their own hands. They helped Finley and even Stephen Harper show up all right, in the form of scarecrows. They also posted signs saying “has anyone seen Finley?” with Harper replying “Shut up Diane, not on my watch!” The stuffed figures have since been taken down – the owners say the Conservatives supposedly made a stink.
Caledonia’s Argyle Street is the same street that houses the disputed DCE site, which has been occupied by native terrorists since 2006.
